Working under his renowned DMK maker’s mark and bearing the prestigious Dublin hallmark, Killen established his workshop on Fade Street, Dublin 2, in 1985. From this studio, he built a legacy that spans more than 40 years—earning a reputation as a prolific and deeply thoughtful maker whose work bridges Ireland’s ancient past with its modern identity. Drawing inspiration from early Irish and Celtic design motifs, Killen reimagined these forms for a contemporary audience.
